The Riad was top notch with themed architecture rooms, exquisite tile and plaster work, and great amenities (roof deck, spa, internet, etc). The staff spoke poor English, but that comes expected. The Riad was hard to find at first, but its in the absolute Middle of the Ancient Medina and was central to shops, historic sites, and restaurants.

The staff were excellent really welcoming and friendly. They helped us plan days out and gave more advice than was needed. Khalil the night porter was superb very kind, caring and hospitible. We had some excellent evening conversations over mint teA and watching the news. Rooms were clean and well kept. The hammam was good too we left well scrubbed.
There are just a couple of things the roof terrace had a jacuzzi which was out of order which was a bit of a disappointment we were really looking forward to nights on the terrace in the hot tub. The breakfasts were a little repetitive the cooked food usually either pancake moroccoan cake or pastry is great but the baguette and jam was a little boring for 5 days but it was fresh and well presented I think that was not to my taste. The coffee was excellent!

Excellent stay, close to the bustling main Square and medina. Friendly staff, lovely roof terrace, good breakfast, welcoming pot of tea. Very luxurious and smart, bit more expensive that other riads, but worth the extra as the quality was supurb.
Nothing really, only if you are on a budget, there are cheaper riad.

The staff were very good. The roof terrace was a wonderfull space for relaxation.
The breakfasts were not appetising. Too sweet for our tastes. The location in the city is not too bad but the walk in to the Road is not a pleasant experience.

Funcionarios excelentes,o povo arabe e muito hospitaleiro! Personnel magnifique! Il faut d'abbord s'habituer au quartier, ca va demander que 30min. Aprender a fazer o cha de hortela e um grande prazer, pecam a cozinheira que ela pode ensinar. Manger le couscous d'hotel ca me fait plaisir. Bavarder avec les maghrebians est essentiel. The view from terrace on sunset is just awesome. Enjoy yourself! Merci a tous! A bientot! InchAlah.
I do recommend shuttle from airport, it cost from 10 to 15 euros but is necessary in the very first time until you get to know Marrakesh´s maze. Fortunately Anya Riad´s staff would help us everytime.

tipycal Riad atmosphere
1) limited presence of reception staff during day time 2) problems when paying: they didn't refer to the Booked.net agreed fee but stated a different (higher) one + claimed paiement of city tax. thanks god i had printed the confirmation and everything got sorted out and we paid the agreed fee...
